Founded by soprano Dr. Yixuan Han, HanOpera is dedicated to enhancing students’ singing abilities through comprehensive vocal training, performance skills, foundational music knowledge, and artistic appreciation. Our mission is to cultivate exceptional singers for the global artistic stage. We achieve this through a holistic approach to singing lessons, including professional guidance and training for both aspiring singers and vocal teachers seeking admission to prestigious music colleges worldwide.
HanOpera’s professional vocal music training is founded on the principles of voice science and advanced vocal teaching methods. Our approach involves personalized instruction tailored to accommodate the diverse needs and vocal abilities of individuals across various age groups, enabling students to showcase their optimal singing potential at different stages of vocal development. Through scientifically-grounded training and rehabilitation techniques, many students with vocal cord injuries have successfully regained their ability to sing. Furthermore, HanOpera nurtures and enhances students’ linguistic proficiency in singing by teaching songs in multiple languages, including Italian, English, French, and German.
As a testament to their rigorous singing lessons training and diligent efforts, students at HanOpera consistently shine in both domestic and international vocal competitions. In addition to many students being selected for the Texas All Region / All State Voice every year, they have also repeatedly won first prizes in the TEXAS UIL Solo competition. In 2023 and 2024, many students get awards such as the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Vienna Clara Schumann International Vocal Competition (VCSIVC), Vienna International Vocal Competition (VIVC), and others. Here is a list of their achievements:
HanOpera’s professional vocal music training is based on the theory of voice science and vocal music teaching methods. It is an individualized instruction process, which fits the needs and voice conditions of different age groups, allowing students to demonstrate the best singing level at different voice stages. Many students with damaged vocal cords can sing again through scientific principle based training and rehabilitation.
One of the ways HanOpera inspires and develops students’ singing language talent is by teaching songs in Italian, English, French and German. Every year, Dr. Han recommends her qualified students to partake in well-known international vocal music competitions, as well as perform in local charity performances. Many of Dr. Han’s students have become well-known singers and excellent vocal teachers all over the world.
HanOpera invites applications from distinguished professors, accomplished musicians, and doctors of music to join our team. Our classes encompass personalized 1-on-1 singing lessons, international voice competition preparation, music theory, sight-reading, aural training, stage performance coaching, and music appreciation sessions. Our mission is to deliver top-tier training utilizing cutting-edge pedagogical methods, guiding students away from pitfalls and ensuring they stay on the correct path toward musical mastery.
The Vocal Music Teaching Method represents a scientific framework rooted in Western vocal music pedagogy, drawing from the principles of voice science theory and practical application. It offers tailored and professional training for each individual singer, considering their unique voice characteristics while addressing any vocal issues or defects. Thus, it helps singers protect their most precious musical instruments - their vocal cords, and allows the singer to produce the most beautiful voice in the most relaxed manner. Upon mastering these techniques, singers gain the versatility to perform a wide range of musical genres that complement their voice type, ensuring optimal expression and artistic fulfillment.
