Music Theory for Singers
Turn “all those dots” into music you actually understand. Build real sight-reading and ear skills so auditions, choir music, and new songs feel exciting—not scary.
After This Class, You Can…
We focus on practical skills that singers use every week—in choir, lessons, and auditions.
- Read rhythms and melodies without guessing
- Know what key you’re in and how it feels to sing in it
- Hear intervals and patterns before you even sing them
- Follow choral scores and find your place quickly
- Walk into All-Region / All-State auditions ready to read on the spot
How the Class Works
Everything is broken down into clear, repeatable drills designed for vocalists—not pianists.
Short, fun reading challenges using real audition-style melodies and choir music.
Intervals, patterns, and pitch memory games that make intonation stronger and steadier.
Keys, scales, chords—always connected to songs you actually sing, not abstract worksheets.
Practice “on-the-spot” reading and performing so the real audition feels familiar.
