Who is it for?
- Age 6–12: students who need a strong foundation in voice and music

- Note: VF currently only enrolls children and teens, not adults.
Learning Focus Areas
Technique
- Training breath support and resonance placement
- Balancing chest / head / mix voice; healthy high range for musical theatre styles
- Extending range and smoothing the passaggio (register transition)
- Unified vowels and clear diction; introduction to IPA basics
- Vocal health: warm-ups, cool-downs, and healthy practice habits
- Practical tools for efficient home practice (for both students and parents)
Musicianship
- Sight-singing and ear training: solfège (do–re–mi), rhythm reading, and basic skills
- Aural skills: intervals, melodic memory, and basic harmony listening
- Understanding the score: keys, structure, dynamics, and core theory for singers
- Music and arts appreciation: styles, time periods, and ways of expression
- Selecting repertoire that fits each student’s age and voice type
- Recognizing stylistic differences between Classical and Musical Theatre
Performance
- Stage movement and physical expression — telling a story, not just singing notes
- Audition and competition prep: choosing cuts, stage procedure, self-introduction
- Ensemble skills: singing in duets and groups, listening and following the conductor
- Microphone technique, stage etiquette, and interacting with the audience
- Mental preparation before going on stage and building confidence
- Using judges’ rubrics and feedback to set goals and keep improving

乐感与乐理（Musicianship）
- 视唱练耳：do-re-mi、节奏读法等基础能力

- 谱面理解：调性、结构、力度记号等基础乐理
- 音乐与艺术欣赏：不同风格、时期与表达方式
